Shirantha Peiris – Managing Director

Shirantha Peiris is the founder of PDTI and Managing Director. Shirantha a Performance Management Consultant and Service Excellence Guru possesses extensive experience in the corporate world, spanning over thirty-five years’ mostly in Aviation holding Senior Positions internationally and in Sri Lanka. Shirantha has a proven track record and has trained and managed people from over seventy-five countries and has a wealth of experience in taking individuals and large teams to a different level in performance and delivering unique services and remarkable Experiences to clients in multiple industries.

Shirantha is also an expert in Performance Management and has implemented same in leading organisations.

Eugen Pongracz - Director, Hospitality and Service Excellence

Eugen has over 25 years of experience in Senior Leadership positions in global hospitality with hotels, cruise ships, commercial and private aviation. He is currently in-charge and managing a hotel with award-winning cruise-line, Viking Cruises.

Eugen also has an Aviation background being First-Class Performance Manager for Food & Beverage Managers, Butlers and Chefs at Etihad Airways based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He was also the Lead Performance Manager for the exclusive Butler and Chefs projects with Savoy Hotel, London and Fairmont Hotel in Abu Dhabi. Eugen also is a certified recruiter and trainer in leadership and hospitality service who has trained people from all over the world to deliver and maintain world class standards.

Phil Young Ph.D. - Professor of Economics & Finance

Phil Young is a corporate education consultant who designs and implements seminars and training programs in finance, marketing, and strategy and leadership. He has over 30 years of experience in this area of consulting as a course developer, instructor, and facilitator.

Phil was a Professor of Economics and Finance at Pace University in New York, where he taught in the MBA program for 25 years. He has also taught in executive education programs sponsored by Columbia University, The University of California at Berkeley, Thunderbird School of Global Management and Cornell University. He has also developed an online course in finance and economics for the University Of North Carolina Flagler School Of Management. He continues to be an adjunct professor for the Doctoral Program of the International School of Management (Paris).

Michael A. Canton Senior Facilitator - Food & Beverage

Michael has a wealth of experience in training and development and is the former Director of Operations / beverage Training at The Battle House Hotel - A Renaissance Hotel, Mobile, Alabama. Recognized as one of the top 500 hotels in the world and recipient of the AAA Four Diamond award and Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and also was Director of Restaurant Operations/Beverage Training at The Garden City Hotel, Garden City, New York. He has trained people from all over the world during his aviation career based in the United Arab Emirates.
